Thank you so much for doing the dress alterations for my wedding dress for my Cornwall wedding in June 2015. It fitted perfectly on the day and I felt beautiful wearing it because it fitted so well. As soon as I contacted Jenny I was confident that she was going to do a great job on my wedding dress and she certainly delivered. I only had a short window to get the dress adjusted as another dressmaker had let me down, but she fitted me in and was able to offer me fitting appointments in the evenings and even on Sunday morning!
The fitting process to do the pinning for the adjustments was fuss-free and I felt comfortable with the ideas that she suggested to make my dress fit perfectly.
When I picked up the dress I couldn't believe the difference - it finally fitted me and I was able to look forwards to my big day with confidence.
Jenny is obviously a very skilled seamstress who has a real eye for making just the right adjustments and her charge for the work was very reasonable.
I would thoroughly recommend Jenny to anyone who has a wedding dress or a special outfit that needs any alterations.

I came to Jenny last year with a beaded lace wedding dress, my wedding is not untill July 2012,and knew she would'nt be starting my dress as yet, but on calling her mid February to see if it was possible to have it ready, we arranged a fitting for the following week ! i thought my dress was quite difficult because of the lace and beading and longish train at the back, but Jenny has done a marvelous job and you would'nt know it had been altered.
I was shocked (in a good way!) at the price, it should have been double and a very lovely lady, i would definitely use again.

I had been looking for someone to make alterations to my wedding gown, and saw the reviews for Jenny here, well what can I say but this lady is wonderful! The work was done to an outstanding quality and she is brilliant. My dress was completed before-time. I had boning taken out of the corset bodice, that was showing though. The length shorted and she put a lovely heart shaped crystal on the back that matched perfectly with my dress creating a bustle so I can walk around without fear of getting my dress scuffed. She helped me with ideas for my jacket and has altered the length of the jacket back too. She is great value for money and I would highly recommend her, in fact I have already.

Jenny has just done a number of alterations to a very dazzling evening dress for me,the dress is a mass of sequins!! Jenny shortened the dress, altered the straps for me and then to finish the outfit made me a short cape out of the wrap that went with the dress. First class service, I am delighted.

Just to say thank you for the great alterations to my two dresses!
Not only did Jenny shorten one of my dresses to perfection, but she also managed to let out this dress (although there seemed to be no extra material to speak of!) and another dress of mine! I will now be able to eat and breathe perfectly.
Service, speed and price were additionally fantastic and Jenny was extremely helpful throughout!

Jenny is my saviour; skillfully transforming my extremely ill-fitting wedding dress into one which now fits perfectly. Prior to finding Jenny, I'd almost given up on the prospect of being able to wear it on my big day. She certainly surpassed my expectations. The price of the alterations was very reasonable considering the amount of intricate work involved and lace-matching needing to be done. I would have no hesitation in recommending Jenny, she is fantastic.
